KUALA LUMPUR Jan 7 (Bernama) : Proton Holdings Bhd has appointed Roslan Abdullah as its deputy chief executive officer effective Jan 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Roslan was previously Proton vice-president (sales and marketing) and Proton Edar Sdn Bhd CEO \u2014 roles he had held since June 1, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He holds a finance and accountancy degree from the University of Brighton, UK, and has more than three decades of experience in the automotive sector, Proton said in a statement today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Proton CEO Li Chunrong said Roslan played a key role in supporting the Proton leadership and guiding the overall management of the business, particularly the sales and marketing functions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe will be able to form a strong partnership to lead the company to greater heights,\u201d Li said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also expressed his appreciation to Radzaif Mohamed, who retired as deputy CEO on Dec 31, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cProton would like to place on record our appreciation to Radzaif for his invaluable contribution and unwavering commitment towards our success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
