IPOH, June 16 (Bernama) —\u00a0Police have detained a man who\u00a0allegedly ran amok\u00a0after stopping a car in the right lane of KM253 of the North-South Expressway (southbound) in Kuala Kangsar\u00a0last Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Perak police chief Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said the 36-year-old man was detained at his house in Taman Setapak Permai, Kuala Lumpur at about 9pm on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u00a0believe\u00a0that the suspect was\u00a0under influence of drugs\u00a0during the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The investigation paper will be referred to the state public prosecutor today for further instructions,\u201d he said when contacted by Bernama here today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is learnt that the suspect who was remanded yesterday morning would be charged in court tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last Sunday, police received a report from the driver of the vehicle who was at the scene at about 7.12pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
