KUALA LUMPUR, July\u00a028(Bernama) — A woman died after allegedly receiving traditional treatment at a house in Pandan Perdana here yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ampang Jaya Police chief ACP Mohamad Farouk Eshak in a statement said the 41-year-old woman was said to have fallen unconscious in the living room of the house after the treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPolice received the\u00a0distress call about the incident at\u00a06.35 pm and the victim was pronounced dead by the paramedics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFollowing that, the traditional medicine practitioner, a 51-year-old woman, was detained to facilitate further investigations,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mohamad Farouk said an initial investigation found that the victim had frequented the house over the past week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
