Uncle Kentang

Our Story

From Small Acts of Kindness to a National Movement

In 2005, a group of ordinary citizens in Malaysia came together with a shared concern for the rising crime rates in the country. They realized that poverty was the root cause of social disobedience and lawlessness, leading them to initiate programs and initiatives to rebuild the community and improve the quality of life.

Over time, their small acts of kindness and social responsibility grew into a movement that touched the lives of thousands. In 2019, Pertubuhan Amal Uncle Kentang Malaysia was established as a non-governmental organization with the aim of reducing poverty and improving the quality of life for those in need.
