AKM Kelantan: ’12 Nak Muay Thai’ attracts almost 5,000 spectators

KOTA BHARU, July 24 (Bernama) — Nearly 5,000 Muay Thai sports fans filled the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium, here tonight to witness world-class action displayed by the International Muay Thai Match participants.

The competition was held as part of the Kelantan edition of the Keluarga Malaysia Aspirations Tour (AKM) that will end tomorrow.

A total of 12 ‘nak muay thai’ (boxers) from Malaysia, Thailand, Algeria, Afghanistan and Myanmar were in action tonight in six matches.

Also present was the Minister of Communications and Multimedia Tan Sri Annuar Musa who is also the AKM Kelantan tour coordinator.

Annuar is also the Advisor to the Malaysian Federation of Muay Thai Professional (MFMP).

The final match involved Thai and Myanmar boxers to grab the MFMP Advisor belt.
