Two missing teenagers found dead in MPV

KUALA LUMPUR, June 2 (Bernama) — The mystery of two missing teenagers was solved after police found their bodies in a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) in an underground parking area of a residential building in Bandar Sri Permaisuri, Cheras here on Sunday.
Cheras district police chief, ACP Muhammad Idzam Jaafar said the bodies of a female and male teenagers, both 19, were found after police received public complaints at 8.26 pm.
“Police found the body of the girl in the front passenger seat and the body of the boy was in the rear seat. They were believed to have died five days ago.
“Inspection on both the bodies and site did not find any element of crime. Investigations found the original owner of the MPV had sold the vehicle to the father of the male teenager,” he said in a statement today.
He said the police had received reports on the disappearances of the two teenagers from their families in Klang, Selangor and Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, respectively, on May 23 and 24.
“One victim was a student of a public institution of higher learning while the other was about to enter a teacher training college.
They were friends and were not residents of the residential building,” he said.
Muhammad Idzam said the two bodies were sent to the Forensic Unit of Chancellor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital for post mortem and the case was classified as sudden death.
Members of the public with information on the incident are urged to come forward to assist police in the investigation by contacting Salak Selatan police station chief, Insp Muhd Arfizan Ab Aziz at 019-9198729 or Cheras police hotline at 03-9284 5050/5051.
