Mohd Chan And Team Visit Puchong
Looking into the poor needs together with Dato Hj Mohammad Chan bin Abdullah, Mr Fadzil and Mr Richard Koh. Thursday 12th March, a special visit from the Dato Hj Mohamad Chan bin Abdullah to Uncle Kentang ‘dapur umum’ in Puchong Perdana and Bukit Puchong.
Discussion was made on various aspect of helping the poor and we will looking into future collaboration together. Dato Mohamad Chan has agreed to come more often to see the needs of the poor.
He shared many of his experiences and Uncle Kentang learn a lot from him. Dato later adjourned to another restaurant in Bukit Puchong where another ‘dapur umum’ is being created there.
For the Puchong Perdana stall, it serve nasi beringin and various noodles such as laksa Johor, Mee Bandung, Mee Kari, Lontong . The hungry can eat at this small stall and is allowed to pack 2 packets of food to bring home. At present, there are many poor who eat at this stall.
For the Bukit Puchong ‘dapur umum’, it is located in 48, Jalan BP6/9, Bandar Bukit Puchong, Puchong.
The name of the restaurant that provide food for the hungry and poor is Chef Gemuk. Here the hungry can have nasi daging salai and other food. The hungry is allowed to pack 2 packets per family.
Uncle Kentang has initiated a membership card for the poor and needy and holders of the Uncle Kentang Keluarga card can have meals in both the outlets.
The membership card is to ensure that the family or the card holder receive help each month.
The entourage stopped for a lunch in Chef Gemok restaurant and were entertained by Amir Tai Chi performance.
The entourage has promised more good things to come for the rakyat of Malaysia .
