7 Hari Bermalam di Surau, Ibu dan 2 Anak Di Usir Dari Rumah
Setelah ditinggalkan suami, seorang ibu tunggal 2 anak di khabarkan telah tidur dibawah jambatan sebelum dipindahkan bermalam di surau, LRT Taman Maluri, di sini.
Mereka sekeluarga diusir setelah lebih 2 bulan tidak membayar sewa dan terpaksa merempat dijalanan dengan hanya sehelai sepinggang.
Kisah mereka ini mendapat perhatian aktivis masyarakat, Kuan Chee Heng (Uncle Kentang) apabila terus berjumpa dengan keluarga tersebut di surau stesen LRT Taman Maluri, pagi tadi.
Selesai membawa mereka bersarapan, Uncle Kentang kemudiannya membawa mereka 3 beranak untuk bermalam di hotel dan kemudiannya akan melakukan swab test COVID-19 sebelum dibawa pulang ke Tawau, Sabah.
Ramai yang mengikuti live Uncle Kentang di facebook melahirkan rasa simpati kepada mereka sekeluarga.
Kisah ibu 2 anak ini mendapat perhatian Ahli Parlimen Kalabakan, Tuan Ma’mun Sulaiman apabila beliau terus menghubungi Uncle Kentang selepas berakhirnya sesi live tersebut.
Ma’mun turut menghantar sistem pesanan ringkas (SMS) kepada Uncle Kentang dengan mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kerana sudi membantu orang susah dari Tawau.
Seterusnya, Ma’mun juga turut meminta nombor akaun bank Uncle Kentang bagi memberi sumbangan bagi membantu keluarga malang tersebut.
